Hi tutor Debby here, a passionate and learner-centred Chemistry and Science tutor with a First Class degree in Chemistry Education. My expertise lies in making complex topics , relatable, and enjoyable through practical examples, interactive lessons, and personalised teaching strategies. I believe every learner can thrive when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment. Beyond teaching science, I support learners in developing confidence, critical thinking, and independent learning skills. My goal is not just to help students pass examinations but to nurture curious minds, build lasting understanding, and inspire a genuine love for learning.

How I teach

My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and tailored to each learner's needs. I begin by identifying what the student already understands, their learning gaps, and their goals. I then break difficult concepts into simple steps, using relatable examples, visual explanations, guided practice, and real-life applications to make learning easier to understand and remember. I encourage students to ask questions, think independently, solve problems, and participate actively rather than simply memorise facts.
