Mr Emmanuel Ifeanyi Morah

Mathematics, GCSE Maths, Non-verbal reasoning, Physics, 11 Plus, SATs, GCSE Physics, Quantitative reasoning and GCSE · ten years teaching

My name is Morah Emmanuel. I am a graduate and an experienced teacher of Mathematics and Physics, with 10 years of classroom teaching. For the past couple of years I have taught online, so I know how to keep children focused and learning well on screen. I teach students from Primary 11+, Junior Secondary through to Senior Secondary and GCSE level. I am patient, punctual and committed to every child I teach.

How I teach

I start every student by finding out where they are strong and where they are stuck. Then I explain each topic step by step, in simple language, with real-life examples and worked questions. I don't believe in rushing. A child should understand why an answer is right, not just memorise it.

Every lesson ends with practice questions, and I give assignments so the learning continues between classes. I keep parents informed about their child's progress, and I focus on building confidence as much as marks. Many children fear Maths and Physics, and my goal is to help them enjoy these subjects.
