How I teach

My teaching approach is learner-centered, interactive and tailored to each student’s ability, learning pace and academic goals. I use the scaffolding method (I Do, We Do, You Do) to break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps, gradually building learners’ confidence and independence. For students preparing for examinations, I encourage independent problem-solving, providing targeted guidance, constructive feedback and exam-focused strategies to strengthen their understanding and performance.

As a Certified Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor, I recognize that every child learns differently. I adapt my teaching methods, lesson pace and level of support to accommodate individual learning needs, whether a student is struggling with foundational concepts, working at grade level or aiming for academic excellence. My priority is to create a supportive, engaging and flexible learning environment where every learner feels confident, makes measurable progress and develops the skills to succeed independently.
