Mrs Ogechi Isaac
I am Isaac Ogechi, a qualified and registered teacher with about 10 years of teaching experience. I teach English Language, Mathematics and Phonics to Early Years and Key Stage 1 learners, from Reception up to Year 3, online. I am registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and hold a TEFL certificate, which strengthens how I teach English and early reading to young children. I love helping young learners build strong foundations in phonics, number and early reading, along with the confidence to try, ask questions and enjoy learning. My lessons are warm, patient and playful, and I believe every child can make real progress when learning is encouraging and fun.
How I teach
My lessons are bright, playful and always interesting, from Reception through Key Stage 1. Through games, songs, pictures and hands-on activities, children learn Phonics, English and Maths by sounding out letters, singing, counting real objects and answering questions out loud. We start with letter sounds, then blend them into words, and children are soon reading with pride. Counting, matching and number fun build strong maths skills too.
Every child learns at their own pace, and every small success gets a big celebration. I also share regular progress updates and simple home activities, so parents can see the growth and join in the fun. Let's make learning something your child looks forward to!
