Mrs Unyime Robert
I’m Unyime Robert, a TRCN-certified Mathematics tutor with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and five years of teaching experience. I support learners in Grades 4–9 across British and international curricula, including preparation for 11+, SATs and Non-Verbal Reasoning assessments. I enjoy helping learners overcome difficulties in Maths, build strong foundations and become confident, independent problem-solvers.
How I teach
My teaching starts with understanding your child’s strengths and identifying where they need support. I then build lessons around their needs, using clear explanations, visual examples and interactive activities to make Maths easier to understand. My lessons are calm and encouraging, giving learners space to ask questions and learn from mistakes.
I guide learners through new concepts step by step, then encourage them to explain their thinking and tackle questions independently. Regular checks help me decide when to revisit a skill or introduce a new challenge. I also keep parents informed about progress and share practical ways to support learning at home.
