I teach English, but more importantly, I help learners who have come to believe they are not good at it. From grammar and essay writing to reading comprehension, speaking, pronunciation and exam preparation, I break things down in ways that make sense to each learner. Nothing makes me happier than hearing a student say, “Oh, so that’s what it means! Why didn’t anyone explain it like this before?”
How I teach
I am a passionate English Language tutor with over 5 years of experience, dedicated to helping learners become confident thinkers, writers, and communicators. Over the years, I have met learners who believe English is difficult and boring, often because they have been overwhelmed by rules and teaching methods that leave them feeling inadequate.
My approach is to create a safe, supportive learning environment where every learner can learn at their own pace, ask questions freely, and grow without fear of making mistakes. My greatest reward is seeing a learner move from “English is hard and boring” to “Nobody has ever explained it to me like this before.” Because I believe every learner can excel when they are taught in a way that works for them.
