Mrs Esther Akeredolu
I am a passionate, student-centred English Language educator with over 10 years of teaching experience across primary, junior, and senior secondary levels. I specialise in English Language, phonics, literacy development, examination preparation, and public speaking. With a background in English Language education and a commitment to continuous professional growth, I design engaging, differentiated lessons that respond to learners’ individual needs.
How I teach
Esther teach using a student-centred, inclusive, and differentiated approach, recognising that every learner is unique and learns at a different pace. I begin by assessing learners’ prior knowledge, identifying learning gaps, and adapting my teaching strategies to meet their individual needs. Through explicit instruction, modelling, scaffolding, and guided practice, I break complex concepts into manageable steps that promote understanding and independent learning.
My teaching combines empathy, technology integration, and reflective practice to create engaging and supportive learning experiences. I encourage learners to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and build confidence in their abilities. Rather than focusing solely on grades or completing the curriculum, I prioritise meaningful progress, critical thinking, and helping every learner realise their potential.
