Ms Folashade Adedokun
Meet Folashade Adedokun, the English teacher who makes words come alive. With a BA in English (Second Class Upper) and a 120-hour TEFL certificate (Distinction), she brings real expertise and a big heart to every lesson. From Year 2 reading adventures to 11+ exam preparation, Folashade helps children fall in love with language, one story, one sentence and one "I did it!" moment at a time.
How I teach
In Folashade's lessons, words become wonders. With stories, games and lots of encouragement, Little voices are encouraged to read aloud, ask questions and share big ideas, write with confidence and speak with pride.Her lessons are thoughtfully designed to bring learning to life through engaging conversations, colourful visual resources, storytelling, interactive activities, and clear, step-by-step explanations.
Folashade adapts her teaching to help children make meaningful progress at their own pace. From strengthening grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and creative writing to developing the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed for 11+ English and Verbal Reasoning, she combines purposeful practice with constructive feedback and gentle encouragement.
