Ms Monijesu Esther Ogunojuwo
I am an English educator with over four years of teaching experience and a B.A.Ed. in English Language Education from Tai Solarin University of Education. My professional training includes Cambridge IGCSE First Language English and Oxford University Press courses in active learning, assessment, and ELTOC Chapter 13, Block 1. I also hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and a Preply Language Teaching Certificate, with additional training in Montessori, EYFS, and AI in Education. I teach primary and secondary learners, supporting them with English language, reading, writing, comprehension, literature, US SAT, UK SATs, and 11+ preparation. I have taught students from the UK, USA, Canada, Poland, Nigeria, Indonesia, and India. I adapt my lessons to each learner's needs, helping them strengthen their English skills, improve their performance, and build confidence.
How I teach
I make my lessons easy to follow and enjoyable by explaining concepts simply, using relatable examples, and giving students time to practise. My training in English language teaching, active learning, assessment, early childhood education, Cambridge IGCSE First Language English, and AI-supported teaching helps me adapt lessons to different learning needs. I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and learn from mistakes without feeling embarrassed. My goal is to help every student understand English better and feel confident using what they have learnt.
