I am a passionate and tech-savvy English tutor with a B.A.Ed. in English and Education, an M.Ed. in Educational Administration and Planning, and TEFL certification. With over five years of experience in personalised, child-centred teaching, I help learners aged 8–16 develop strong reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills. I have experience supporting students across Nigerian, British, Canadian, and American curricula, including preparation for major school and international examinations. My teaching approach is personalised, interactive, and student-centred. I tailor each lesson to the learner’s age, ability, learning style, and goals, using engaging activities, real-life examples, stories, and digital tools to make learning meaningful. I focus on building strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, pronunciation, and communication while encouraging learners to think critically and express themselves confidently.
I believe every child can make progress with the right guidance, patience, and consistent practice. My lessons combine clear explanations, guided practice, independent tasks, and constructive feedback to help learners improve their skills and academic performance. Whether your child needs support with schoolwork, exam preparation, or overall English proficiency, I create a supportive learning environment where they can grow in confidence and become independent learners.
